Description

"How Can MIT Resources Help My Startup Idea?”

A Founder's Orientation to the Martin Trust Center

Presented by the Martin Trust Center’s Josh Forman and Sam Breen

Wed 11/19/2014, 6-7pm, E40-160

Followed by an Entrepreneurship Meetup & Cornhole Toss 7-9pm

MIT students found startups while in school at a prolific rate, and entrepreneurs come from every discipline, both undergraduate and graduate. How are these students building their skills and knowledge while simultaneously making progress on their degree programs? In part, it’s because they take advantage of the multitude of MIT entrepreneurship resources available to all students.

Martin Trust Center entrepreneur-in-residence Josh Forman and program coordinator Sam Breen will provide an overview of the academics and support services of the Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship, whose mission is to prepare students across campus to become effective entrepreneurs through resources both here and from throughout MIT’s departments, labs, and centers.

Pizza will be provided.

Afterward, join students with all levels of familiarity with MIT entrepreneurship at our Entrepreneurship Meetup and Cornhole Toss from 7-9pm -- we'll have food and fun!
